Stormsure ’TUFF Tape’ is a very strong, clear, self-adhesive, waterproof tape that is sold as individual pre-cut patches and strips of various shapes and sizes. TUFF Tape is made of a thin, but very tough, polyurethane film with a pressure sensitive adhesive and backing paper on the rear side. It has characteristics unlike many other tapes. It is waterproof and air tight. It is highly resistant to abrasion and very difficult to tear or puncture. It stretches and is elastic and it can withstand both heat and extreme cold without losing all its useful characteristics. TUFF Tape is very strong and can bind together items just by stretching the tape around the item and using the elasticity to pull the pieces tightly into place. When TUFF tape is applied to clothing it will go through regular washing machine cycles unaffected.

USES: Use TUFF Tape to quickly repair rips in waterproof clothing, ripped netting and fabrics, inflatable mattresses, canoes and RIBs, tents and awnings, sails and kites, waders, cracked buckets and other plastic containers, PVC curtain sides on trucks and warehouses.

DIRECTIONS: Ensure that the surface is clean and dry before using. Cut a suitable sized piece of TUFF Tape for your repair using good quality scissors or a sharp scalpel blade. Peel off the backing paper. Carefully position and then apply the TUFF Tape directly on top of the damage. Start at one edge and press the tape down gradually to avoid the entrapment of air bubbles. Once the TUFF Tape is in place rub it firmly with a smooth and hard object (such as the back of a spoon) to ensure the maximum adhesion to the substrate.

Polymorph is the same as StormForm. It is a hand moudlable plastic, which comes in the form of 2mm white beads. Place a spoonful beads in a cup and add boiling water. The beads quickly melt together and become transparent. The melted plastic can be moulded by hand, rolled out into sheets and stuck onto many surfaces.

Polymorph can be reheated and remelted many times, so it is fully recycleable. It is non toxic and is also biodegradable if buried in soil

Melts at 62ºC in hot water or any other heat source. Non-toxic. Biodegradable.

Mould it into the shape you need and let it cool to room temperature.

Recycle it many times by reheating.

Polymorph is >99% epsilon caprolactone polyester with 1,4 butanediol.

Stormsure polymorph is a linear polycaprolactone (PCL) monomer grade with high molecular weight (about 50,000). It is a compostable and printable grade, exhibiting very good biodegradability and resistance to tear, moisture and impact. Provides flexibility, enhanced durability, high elongation and excellent low temperature performance. Offers strong adhesion to substrates, enhanced biopolymer performance, compatibility with a wide range of common thermoplastics and solubility in several common solvents. Polymorph is used in a variety of adhesive applications. It complies with EN13432.

A tube of Remo Tip Top Vulcanising cement and 2 Remo black vulanised rubber patches. These are the best patches and glue you can get and the best for making permenent repairs on vulcanised rubber material. They work very well on car and bicycle tyre inner tubes and some rubber boots which are made from vulcanised rubber.

Use Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive if the material is not vulcanised rubber.

Remove old seal. Cut seal to fit if needed. Apply two layers of Stormoprene glue onto both the drysuit/wetsuit and the area of the seal that will be stuck to the drysuit/wetsuit. Position drysuit seal area so that the seal can be stuck on comfortably. Bond and allow to cure for 2 hours. Full instructions are included.

Remove the old seal. Cut seal to fit if needed. Apply two layers of Stormoprene glue onto both the drysuit/wetsuit and the area of the seal that will be stuck to the drysuit/wetsuit. Leave the glue to become touch dry between each layer. Position drysuit seal area so that the seal can be stuck on comfortably. Bond, press firmly over the whole bonded area and . Bonding is instantaneaous, so arrange the poistioning very carefully first. Allow to cure for 2 hours. Full instructions are included.

This replacement kit is intended to provide a quick and effective replacement for broken or used ankle seals on a drysuit. Cone shaped. Remove old seal. Cut seal to fit if needed. Apply two layers of Stormoprene glue onto both the drysuit/wetsuit and the area of the seal that will be stuck to the drysuit/wetsuit. Position drysuit seal area so that the seal can be stuck on comfortably. Bond, press and allow to cure for 2 hours. Full instructions are included.

Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive is a very strong general purpose adhesive and it can also be used as a surface sealant. It exhibits special characteristics unlike many adhesives as it is highly flexible and stretchy after it has cured but it remains very strong. It fills gaps well, it is suitable for use indoors and outdoors and in marine environments. The adhesive can be painted on top of a surface to make it waterproof, airtight or abrasion resistant. Stormsure adhesive can often be used to cover holes without a patch. A thick film of adhesive will make a good repair. If the glue will drip through the hole just place some sticky tape behind the hole before applying the glue. It can be removed once the glue has cured.

DIRECTIONS:
Use the adhesive at room temperature. Clean the damaged area to remove dirt and grease (sandpaper the surface for best adhesion). Apply a generous amount of Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive to the damaged area, with at least a 5mm extra around the damaged area. Leave horizontal and allow to cure for 10-12 hours.
TIPS:
Mix with Stormcure Accelerator to reduce cure time to approximately 1 hour. Ensure there is no air left in the tube before replacing cap.
Store partly-used tubes in a deep freezer.

Waterproof Flexible Repair Adhesive

Clean damaged area. Apply glue directly over the damage as a layer. In case of two components having come apart (such as loose soles), apply glue to both sides and keep pressed together until cured. Glue remains flexible when cured. Full cure takes 12 hours. Clear and suitable for all colours. Suitable for canvas, leather, nubuck, synthetic materials, polyester, nylon, rubber and more. Perfect for your favourite training shoes.

Highly concentrated. Can be used on virtually any surface in varying dilutions, including textiles and upholstery. Easily removes oil, grease, nicotine and all manner of stains and soils.

Add 3-5% to a large bucket of water and rinse wetsuits. Neoprene. Drip Dry the wetsuits before putting them away.

15ml bottle of Fly Floatant. This is a clear odourless oil which will help keep the fly dry and on the waters surface Just put a drop on you fingers and rub it into the feathers.

Use this excellent product to find pin hole leaks in breatheable and waterproof fabric. Just spray it on the suspect area and see the leaks on the other side.

The breathable fabric is hydrophobic, so when you try to find a pin hole in you waders under the kitchen tap, the water is repelled from the small holes and forms spheres of water which role off the fabric. It is only when the leak is under a meter or more of water pressure that the water will be forced through the pin holes and onto your feet  ( i.e. when you are waste deep in water in your waders!)

Once the holes are identified you can repair the area with Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive or a TUFF patch.
